Heart

Mesenchymal stem cells have been shown to improve heart performance: specifically the left ventricular ejection fraction which is decreased in heart failure. We have documented success with simple, safe, painless intravenous injection of these cells. For example, one elderly patient with grade 3 NYHA heart failure had improvement of his ejection fraction from 38% to 56% shortly after simple intravenous infusion of mesenchymal stem cells in Antigua. 52% or 55% are the commonly used benchmarks for normal cardiac function.
